Apple's AirPods have been a wild success story – they've been one of the hottest Christmas gifts for a few years running, and you see them in people's ears all down any busy street – but the world of true wireless headphones has moved on, and it's time for a follow-up.
Pros:
- Really great audio quality
- Very secure and comfortable fit
- Noise cancellation is impressive
- Battery life isn't bad
- The 'arms' protrude less far from your ear
Cons:
- Still feel very iOS-focused
- More nuance in Transparency mode would be nice
- Obviously
- over-ear headphones have better ANC

Good
This is my first experience with wireless earphones, I'm much accustomed to apples regular wired EarPods. They're a big adjustment, lot of different features. The sound quality is definitely clearer, but almost edges of the verge of being tinny.

Cons:
- ANC isn't as effective as some rivals
- Battery life is good but not the best out there
- Android users don't get all the features

Apple's AirPods Pro are the best wireless buds for iPhone users
I switched on ANC while sitting outside - beside our old and rattling air conditioning unit - not expecting much. For a few seconds I could hear the AirPods configuring themselves (they only do this once) and then suddenly the air conditioner faded away.

While they don't quite take the crown for best-in-class sound quality, the AirPods Pro are great true wireless headphones that exceed the standard AirPods in nearly every way.
Pros:
- The AirPods Pro have an ultracompact
- lightweight
- noise-isolating and sweatproof design that fits more ears securely and delivers better bass and overall sound than the original AirPods.
Cons:
- The sound quality is good, but some competitors sound better
- It's unclear if these have better long-term battery life than the original AirPods.

Better in every single way and the most important way
Loved the original AirPods, but they would fall out of my ears unless I applied rubber tips. The tips worked great, but wouldn't fit in the AirPods charging case, requiring I carry around a separate case and put them on and off repeatedly.

Apple AirPods Pro MWP22ZA/A review
AirPods Pro are so good that they suddenly make regular AirPods difficult to recommend. You should absolutely spend the extra $50 on the newer model because they’re easily worth it.
