Easy to use, good size ie not too heavy a great entry to full frame. Put on the 40 mm stm lens for a light carry anywhere camera and get oin sharp shots.

The 6D has no built-in flash. I prefer my compact old 220EX for family photos; it is superior to the new 270EX II sold today. The 6D is a smaller, lighter version of the world's best DSLR, the 5D Mark III .
Been wanting this for ages and I am certainly not disappointment. Great picture quality with the 24-105 f4 lens( purchased seperately from another source) really sharp, it's quiet when shooting and light for a dslr of its quality
Awesome camera. If you are upgrading from a cropped sensor, I dont see a need to buy the more expensive 5dm3. The lack of multiple cross type focus points is not at all a problem practically. I thought of buying the 5dm3 and glad that I saved some money there.
Cost; Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus; Good Image Quality; High ISO Performance
Perfect for enthusiasts, nice to have 6D, if you know how to use it properly then you can become professional or at least boast to be a professional photographer. :)
As a photography student my camera is the most important thing I own, and the canon 6D is fantastic, the image quality is amazing, this is especially noticeable when printing large format.
light weight; simple user interface
compatible lenses can be exspensive
There was a time, not so long ago, when the cost of a full-frame DSLR was well beyond the reach of most people who didn't earn their living from photography. Then, within the space of a couple of weeks, Nikon announced the D600, Canon followed close on its heels with the 6D, and the affordable...
Tough; moisture and dust resistant body; Built-in Wi-Fi and GPS; Great image quality with low noise levels; AF effective in very low light; 4.5fps continuous shooting limited by memory for JPEGs
Single SD card slot; Lacks built-in flash; 97 percent viewfinder coverage; Relatively few AF points and only one cross-type; Lacks on-demand viewfnder overlays
Very good full frame camera. Equals EOS 5D III in performance.Very good low light performance and accurate auto focus. I have used it for wildlife photography with excellent results. Its light in weight and this helps me in hand holding when I mate it with EF 300mm F/2.8 L II lens.
Bought this camera last year as a companion for my 30D Both great ,but the D6 was superb in low light and lightweight for my purpose of landscape photography. I was impressed by the handling and its versatility in changing from indoors to out. Only downside is no built in flash.
