A few months back, I reviewed the Canon EOS R . While it’s not the perfect mirrorless camera, it is a great first outing for Canon. In the shadow of the EOS R, we’re now looking at the more budget-friendly Canon EOS RP .
At the heart of the EOS RP is a big 26.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor, allowing wider field of view and light-gathering abilities. The model also delivers advance focus assist tools like touch-to-focus and eye tracking auto focus.
Canon introduced its latest mirrorless camera, the EOS RP, a couple of months ago in Singapore, as part of its wider effort to gain more users for its mirrorless system, after the earlier launch of the Canon EOS R.
So far, I think the Canon EOS RP is a pretty darned great buy. But it’s also very entry level–a bit too much so for me. Stay tuned for a more full a thorough review.
The Canon EOS RP is the second full- frame mirrorless camera after the EOS R to feature the company’s RF mount, and while it is one of the least expensive current generation full-frame mirrorless models available (aimed at entry-level users), it still has attractive specs.
Last year Canon launched its brand new EOS R system in South Africa, the company’s first full-frame mirrorless camera.
The best camera I have owned. I am learning how to combine the shutter speed, ISO and aperture. This is an advanced camera. I have been reading lots and the canon connect is absolutely fantastic. Fast delivery of this product. My most recent photos are amazing. Very happy customer.
