Pros
This has been a great printer so far. The color is extremely crisp and bright and it gives your your copies fast. Would definitely recommend as a great SMB color laser printer.

I use a color printer everyday. I like a compact design and color is vivid. But, it is very noisy so if I print over 100 pages, it gives me a headache.

A (word inappropriate) fine color laser
I used to spend a significant part of my time maintaining the printers in my organization until I started replacing all of them with hp enterprise type lasers. Home and Small office printers just don't stand up over time if you print more than a couple hundred pages a month then think about...
Pros:
- We have a couple of these printers
- Very fast print to first page out
- Decent image quality
- Very reliable
- Cost effective due to the ease of replacing the image kit when needed which is not very often
- Our previous cheap HP model take hours to fix when the image kit would start ghosting.
Cons:
- Possibly the initial cost and if you are looking for a light weight solution this is not it at 86 pounds

Biggest pile of junk Iu2019ve ever bought!
Might work okay if you have windows xp, but if you have windows 8 or newer forget it. We have 3 printers on our small business network, this one is the only one that is a constant problem for anyone that is running anything newer then Windows XP.

sharp, dense, accurate color
Color accuracy noticeably better than Xerox laserjet. Great saturation. Gradations still a bit less than HP inkjet. Designed for lots of daily printing.

For a color laser printer I have always purchased HP. This new design without the big plastic ribbon in the unit to transfer the toner is a great improvement. They other deisgn had a very short consumable life. Simple to setup and get on the home network in my case I plug it in to the LAN.

Excellent Service
