The old fashioned joystick The popularity of real time strategy and first person shooter games has thrust the mouse into the spotlight as the most important gaming controller. This is only a recent development though. Things were a lot different when most games were side scrolling platform jumpers.
I bought this joystick as a cheaper alternative to the really expensive ones out there with a separate throttle component, and I have to say that I'm really impressed so far. The base is stable enough that it doesn't slide around on the desk, the spring in the stick itself is tight and with proper...
Easy to setup Sturdy base Good button functionality
Late shipping Right-handed only
The 3d pro worked awesome for me when I first brought it out of the box. I used it for FSX. I started noticing almost immediatly that I would have to unplug the controller once or twice almost every flight to recalibrate it. But now I can not go up or to the right, it is completly useless.
Works great at first; Love the hat switch and all the buttons
Died after a week of use
This being my first joystick is not bad. A lot easier to fly a plane than with any gamepad. I even played the old x-wing game...awesome!
better than gamepad for flight sims
base doesn't lock to table
i use it with MSFS X. even after calibration in windows and using a calibration program i still cant fly straight and level. it has a mechanical problem. calibration does not help.
ergonomics; size; controls layout
something is wrong with it
My first joystick in years, and I haven't tried out everything, but with the relatively basic games I've been playing, it's been so much fun.
I bought this to switch up my mouse use. Recently, I started getting severe pain from continuous mouse use - wrist, neck, arm (I have used upright ergonomic mice for years). Tried using an elbow lift to take pressure off my shoulder - it helped a little but once I switched to this joystick, as long...
I just purchased this a few months ago and it is pretty comfortable to grip. I have had 3 joystick prior to getting this one over the last 20 years and I pretty much stay with Logitech. There are enought programmable buttons on it to customise it to almost any game.
Save your money. A very poor product from a company I'd till this point come to trust. It's broken as far as joysticks are concerned. Losing calibration is an understatement if you use this controller you are less playing a game as along for the ride.
Stabile
Loses calibration after a few weeks never to be found again
