Nikon Z7 II review
The Z7 II is a very capable all-rounder, boosted by the addition of twin card slots and the option to add a battery grip. It offers superb image quality, solid autofocus and good video specs. But it's only really its slightly lower price that makes it stand out from a very competitive group. Thoroughly likable.
Pros:
- Landscape photography and portraiture

- Demanding action shooting, regular changes of subject type

Nikon Z7 II review
The Nikon Z7 II is a subtle evolution of the original Z7, thanks to its two card slots and dual processors that boost its all-round performance. Elsewhere, it's wonderfully familiar territory, and the Nikon Z system is steadily growing. We'd like to have seen a more significant upgrade, but that switch to Nikon mirrorless looks safe now – if you have the money.
Pros:
- Speedier all-round performance
- Nikon Z system is growing nicely
- Excellent handling
- Solid photo and video features
- Eye AF is quick and reliable
Cons:
- A modest refresh
- Rivals have superior AF for action
- Card door pops open too easily
- Better image stabilization on rivals

Small changes have made Nikon's best camera even better.
Pros:
- Superb color reproduction, extreme sharpness and large dynamic range. Perhaps the best ergonomics in class, solid, weatherproof camera body. Well-functioning image stabilizer, and dual card slots.
Cons:
- The tilt screen cannot be rotated, 4K/60p with 1.08 x cropping.

Nikon Z7 II review
There are lots to like about the Z 7II, and while it’s not a complete overhaul when compared to its predecessor, there have been some small but valuable upgrades. Particularly of interest to professionals and high-end enthusiasts is the addition of a secondary card slot, plus 4K 60p video.

Cons:
- Screen only tilts, not articulates, Autofocusing for sport and action could be better, Relatively small upgrade from predecessor
