Plantronics' Voyager Legend is the followup to its well-reviewed and well-received Voyager Pro headset. The company listened to the few points of criticism regarding the headset, making it smaller and shrinking the boom microphone to be less obtrusive.
I bought this in store, and was very satisfied with it. I call often and for a long time, so other less pricey headsets didn't work for me. I love this!
Call Quality; Easy pairing; Good Fit
Pricey
With up to 7 hours of talk time, ease of use and great audio, this is a good business headset.
Audio quality; seamless call transfers; Android and iOS apps
Earpiece volume limited; better support from Plantronics' Android apps
The only complain I have is a functionality issue, but I am using this product as an IP phone headset and this is not what it is manufactured for. It is supposed to interact with Cisco Communicator, but my workplace uses an older version of Communicator, and as much as I can use it with the...
The world is full of laws and regulations that make the need of a good Bluetooth headset a must. There are thousands of brands out there that a person can choose from. Some take AAA batteries, others have short talk time rechargeable batteries, some are god awful looking some are just plain garbage.
The Plantronics Voyager Legend UC headset is ridiculously comfortable; I tend to wear headphones, earbuds and head sets for entire days at a time to see how it feels long-term for those if you out there that might need to do the same thing.
The part that is always left for last; What didn't I like about the headset; Well, I wore it non-stop day in and day out for about 3 weeks; Maybe a bit longer; While people were always able to hear me fairly well, I ran into times where hearing them was an issue.
Introduction:Several things make it clear that the Plantronics Voyager Legend UC is a premium Bluetooth headset aimed at business professionals and the most demanding of users. First of all, the device is designed like a high-grade precision instrument, thus giving its wearer a prominent “I am so important” look. Then there's the rich feature set, which includes convenient voice commands and multiple microphones for enhanced audio experience. It goes without saying that we have high hopes for this top-of-the-line product, so let's give it the review treatment and see what it has to impress us with!Upon opening the headset's retail box we're delighted to see that it comes with a broad variety of accessories, which are added to further justify the $200 price tag of the Plantronics Voyager Legend UC. There's also a non-UC variant of the headset, priced at a much more reasonable $100 yet missing some of the extras listed below, such as the Bluetooth USB adapter, the carrying case and the c...
It does exactly what it says... The sound is great, it fits perfect and you will probably forget it's on your ear. All the features are great and useful, like call announce, voice commands, movement sensors.
Value for money and you should actually try this if you are actually willing to use "bluetooth headset" . You may find the price quite high but i found it quite worth and bought more 3 after getting 1.
The Plantronics Voyager Legend UC ($199.95 direct) Bluetooth headset is a deluxe version of the standard Voyager Legend, which is one of our favorite models. But in addition to working over Bluetooth, the UC version comes with a tiny USB-compatible receiver for hooking up to a PC or Mac for use with Skype, Avaya, IBM, and other UC standard VoIP clients. It's a good choice if you make a lot of VoIP and cellular calls from your desk, and prefer a wireless, mono headset to something like the Plantronics Blackwire 720, which offers a more traditional stereo headset fit and a wired USB connector. That said, the Voyager Legend UC's price gives us pause, the same way the two-year-old Voyager Pro UC did; the included accessories, while useful, shouldn't double the price. Note that there's also a separate B235-M version of this product; that one is Microsoft-certified and optimized for use with Microsoft Lync 2010 and Microsoft OCS 2007 only. This review focuses on the standard Voyager Le...
The included UC receiver makes this version of the Plantronics Voyager Legend Bluetooth headset better than ever, although you'll pay for the privilege.
Clear, crisp voice quality; Comfortable for a Bluetooth headset; UC receiver adds VoIP compatibility for extra flexibility
Expensive; Headset is larger than your typical model
