Amazing
this game is one of my favourite pokemon games! great to shiny hunt and catch the whole Pokédex. I was mad at first with the national dex being cut but when i play the game it feels like it did better off without all the other pokemon and it still has a bunch of pokemon to catch and train and make a team that can shred the gyms and help you win the game!

Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild area
Solid and definitely has an audience. There could be some hard-to-ignore faults, but the experience is fun.

Pokemon Shield Review – Not Quite The Very Best
Tie those sneakers and hug your mum goodbye because adventure awaits in the Galar region! Yes, Pokemon is back in full swing in Sword and Shield with a number of new features that enhance and streamline the core gameplay, despite its rather public outlash at the lack of a national Pokedex.

- Shoe-horned British Dialogue
- Difficulty Drops Mid-Game
- Pokemon Camp Is Boring

Yeah, but do Dubwool like dubstep - Pokémon Sword and Shield Review
There really is something undeniably charming about Pokémon Sword and Shield. While the plot itself is rather short, these games do a decent job of shaking up some of the tried-and-true mechanics in all the right ways.
Pros:
- The Wild Area
- an open-world area with dynamic weather
- Tons of diverse Pokémon to encounter throughout the game
- Team up with other players in Max Raid battles
- Trading and battling without having to exchange friend codes
- Shakes up the gym challenge/Pokémon champion system
Cons:
- No National Dex
- No touch screen controls
- Dropped frames
- especially when online in the Wild Area
- Instancing issues with lobbies for Max Raid battles
