Pokemon Shield (Nintendo Switch)

Nintendo Switch Pokemon Shield POKEMON SHIELD review

Have you seen the streams I did of Pokemon Shield? If not please click here . I really like a lot of things that are done in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. I love being able to see the Pokemon. That way I can see what I will fight.

good i guess

i was pleased by the effort put in but the thought that the pokémon were getting a little more stupid in design

Just okay, not great

I thought pokemon shield was a pretty average game, the story was quite short and disappointing, it would be a good idea on paper but the execution was lacklustre and rather life-less. better than let's go but worse than sun and moon.

Enjoyable but Underwhelming

I enjoyed my time with Shield, but having played every single mainline Pokémon game before it I was left feeling a slight sense of emptiness. It is a well made game don't get me wrong but it just didn't have the same charm as its predeccessors. Furthermore, the art style in quite unimaginative, I expected something more in line with the newest entry to the mystery dungeon subseries, which looks beautiful. However, I did enjoy exploring the Galar region and it was brilliant to see the inspiration it drew from the scenery of Great Britain. All in all, it was a good gaming expeirence but a lackluster Pokémon adventure, perhaps a good game for series newcomers, but won't strike a chord with long-term fans.

Pokemon Shield - Nintendo Switch

Very short, bland and low quality Pokemon game. It is definitely not worth $60. It uses graphics from the 3DS and has many bugs in gameplay, it can even fry your Switch and all other games save files. It only has about 40% of existing Pokemon available.
