The most fun I've had in a singleplayer horror game in a long time. I played RE 1 and 2 when I was a kid with an OG ps1 back in nineteen ninety ... whatever. This game captures the nostalgia of that for me. The devs really did a great job with this game and deserve all the love.

Remastering old games is relatively easy. Just spice up the graphics and perhaps smooth out controls a bit and that's it. Remaking is another story, though, especially if it concerns such a classic video game as Resident Evil 2 , something that's loved and cherished by a whole generation of gamers...

Superb from start to finish
Any fan of the original should invest in this. It stays true to its roots with a modern twist. Visuals and sound are amazing. Plenty end game activities as well to keep you going back

Amazing game.

Just like in the original, in Resident Evil 2 you get to control either police officer Leon S. Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield as they attempt to escape from Raccoon City during a zombie apocalypse.
Pros:
- The body horror
- The psychological horror
- The challenging gameplay
- The faithfulness to the original
- The mind-bending puzzles
Cons:
- The facial animation could use some tweaking
- Players of the original pretty much know the plot
- Items are sometimes placed in an unbalanced manner
- Zombies don't always die
- The roaming Tyrant
- The need to have heart medicine at hand

Resident Evil 2 Remake : As soon as you switch this on and see the Capcom logo appear in front of you, you should reminisce about the sheer terror of playing this on the PS1 (or N64 for me).
