I have been carrying both of Samsung’s new foldables on my person when I leave the house for the last few days. It’s mostly for testing purposes, of course, but there’s also a fun game I like to play when I see people I know.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 Review: No More Excuses
Typically, a full analysis of a product notes the highs and lows and then wraps it all up with whether or not you should buy it. I'm not going to do that here, for several reasons.
Pros:
- Affordable foldable, Flagship in every way, Powerful, Smart use of the folding concept
Cons:
- Battery life is not great, Camera lacks telephoto lens

Pros:
- It folds in half, Good battery life, Camera is fun to use, Actually pocketable
Cons:
- Chunky, No telephoto camera, Cover screen is still small and limited

Everyone's favorite foldable got an incremental upgrade that turns out to be a huge upgrade!
Pros:
- Folds up pretty small, Pretty good battery life, $999 price tag, Incredible performance
Cons:
- Camera is still meh, Still has a crease in the display, Cover Screen could still use some improvements

Samsung’s New Folding Phones Are Finally Ready for Prime Time
A high price is just about the only barrier to folding fun.
Pros:
- They fold! IPX8 water-resistant. Flip4 is ultra-compact and Fold4's large screen adds a new level of usefulness. Android 12L improves multitasking. Reliable battery life. Bright, smooth screens. Great performance. Good, if unremarkable, cameras. Wireless charging support.
Cons:
- Some apps like Instagram are still wonky. Selfie cameras are just OK. Expensive. Slow charging.

Josh Hendrickson / Review Geek I always liked the idea of foldable phones but questioned their usefulness. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 changed my mind and convinced me the concept is sound. It’s the foldable that makes sense for most people, and it actually solves a very real problem.
Pros:
- Fits in the pocket perfectly, Great fingerprint sensor, Runs like a champ, Affordable for a foldable

- Battery life is good but could be better, Durability is still a question, Cameras could be better
