Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G (128GB, Graphite) - Excellent review
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is a significant update from its predecessor. Critical systems and features have been improved, and the whole package came out great between the design, performance, battery life, and camera. Should a Z Flip 3 owner upgrade? If you can afford it, absolutely yes!- Excellent folding phone design, Great camera update close to the S22, Improved all-day battery life, Higher peak performance, Excellent folding phone design, Great camera update close to the S22, Improved all-day battery life, Higher peak performance
- Volume button not easily accessible, Requires two hands at times, Could be too thick for very tight pants, Volume button not easily accessible, Requires two hands at times, Could be too thick for very tight pants

Great phone that folds down to a compact pocket size! Brilliant idea with no compromise to the screen. It's the new old school. I had a flip decade's ago.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G (128GB, Graphite) - Excellent review
Battery life still problematic? With the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and a bigger battery this time around, Samsung's smaller foldable hopes to solve the biggest issue with its predecessor: the poor battery life. Find out why this is only partly fixed for this new model in our review.- Beautiful OLED display, Great build quality, Waterproof foldable design, Good stereo speakers, A powerful SoC...
- ... with heavy throttling, Single-frequency GPS only, No improvement to the screen brightness, No WiFi 6E, USB 2.0, Hard-to-reach buttons
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 (Review Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4)
The phone for people who don't want to stare at their phone- Standout design, Better battery life than previous model, Excellent cellular reception, Useful front screen
- Less-capable cameras than other premium phones, Gaming performance throttles quickly
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G (128GB, Graphite) - Excellent review
Samsung moved the needle in mobile design once again when they unveiled the original Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. This new foldable take on the legacy flip phone took many by surprise and we questioned whether it was last.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G (128GB, Graphite) - Excellent review
In its fourth version, Samsung's Flip is evolving nicely, although also a little slowly. Last year's Flip 3 was pretty solid minus the battery life that this year, all Samsung really had to do was fix the battery, update the specs, and deliver a better camera for version four.- Several generations in, it's still a cool design, Properly compact, Excellent performance, Better battery life than last year (it would have to be), Water resistance included, though not dust resistance (IPX8)
- Cameras could still be better, Antenna issues may be a thing, Doesn't seem like a huge update
The best voice-recording apps for iPhone and Android in 2023
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is one of the best folding smartphones you can buy in 2022. Simultaneously, it’s also one of the most boring compared to its predecessor. It’s a fascinating place for the foldable niche to already be. Over the span of only three years, foldables have gone from a breakthrough niche to “just another” smartphone option you can buy. Samsung, specifically, has already gotten so good at the folding formula that it doesn’t have to reinvent the wheel every year. It just has to keep doing what worked the year before. This year’s Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 perfectly embody this. But where our Galaxy Z Fold 4 review found some fairly significant changes, that sense of repetition is especially prevalent with the Flip. Compared to the Flip 3, there’s not much new with the Flip 4. It has a slightly tweaked design, a camera that’s a little better, a newer chipset, and a marginally larger battery. It all makes the phone sound quite dull on paper. However, after using the ...- Flatter design looks and feels fantastic
- Bespoke customization is unmatched
- Excellent main display
- Blazing fast performance
- Good, fun cameras
- Battery still only lasts a day
- Limited cover screen functionality
