The star of the show at Samsung Unpacked 2021 , the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G is Samsung’s latest foldable phone that is chock full of some jaw-dropping technologies that not only make it the most powerful foldable phone on the planet but also the world’s first water resistant one too.Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G (512GB, Phantom Black) AU - Pristine review
When I initially sat down to try and put my thoughts together for this review, I was going to take the “traditional” approach. But since the Galaxy Z Fold 3 has already been available a few weeks, that’s kind of the boring approach.- Slimmer and lighter than the Z Fold 2, Having a foldable phone is still an incredible feeling, S Pen support was a necessary and welcome addition, Phantom Black is the best color on a smartphone
- Battery life is still horrible., Cameras are good but not great, The crease is annoying when using the S Pen
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G (512GB, Silver) - Excellent review
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is a solid step forward for Samsung’s flagship foldable line, offering a more durable design, solid component upgrades and improved multi-tasking. But the screens’ atypical aspect ratios still come with some usability compromises.- Much tougher than past versions, Powerful performance, Bright, punch main screen that’s great for gaming, You’re a power user that likes to have THE latest gadgets: The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the first foldable I’ve used that doesn’t feel like a prototype thanks to general improvements to its software...
- Apps still don’t always display correctly, You want the best phone or tablet experience possible: Despite excellent work by Samsung improving the Fold 3, the screens’ atypical aspect ratios still hinder the overall user experience.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is a genuine technological marvel from Samsung. The South Korean firm has improved almost everything with its third-generation folding tablet-phone hybrid. It is faster, smoother, has much improved software, better cameras, a more reliable fingerprint scanner and is £200 cheaper...- Pros: a phone and tablet in one, water resistance, useful split-screen apps, great cover screen, fantastic tablet screen, top performance, good battery life, good cameras, head-turning design, S Pen support.
- Cons: very expensive, no 5x optical zoom camera, internal screen can be marked more easily than traditional glass, heavy, thick.

The Z Fold 3 is water-resistant, more durable, $500 more affordable than its predecessor, has two good 120Hz refresh rate displays, a top-of-the-line processor, 12GB of RAM, and a user interface that is near perfect.- Waterproof and more durable, The UI works so well with the larger device, Screen feels so much better
- Still too expensive, The cameras aren’t to par with the price you’re paying, especially the UDC, Still too large, awkward and gimmicky for most
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 512GB Black SM-F926BZKGXNZ review
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the best foldable mobile from the South Koreans to date. But are you absolutely sure that a foldable mobile is something you want?- Best foldable mobile from Samsung so far. More robust than its predecessor, now being waterproof down to 1.5 meters. Also supports S-Pen. Comes with configuration from top shelf.
- Very, very expensive. You could also have expected more from the camera, especially for the price. Poorer battery life than its predecessor. And are foldable mobiles something consumers want at all? We have come to doubt.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G (512GB, Silver) - Excellent review
All-weather foldable. With the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G, Samsung has presented the third generation of its folding smartphone along with many detailed improvements. The foldable leaves a mature impression now, it looks more stable, and it has also become more affordable.- bright, color-accurate OLED displays with 120 Hz, fast system, long-term updates, IPX8 certification, good positioning capabilities, USB Type-C 3.2 with HDMI/DP and DeX, S Pen support
- storage expansion not possible, SoC throttles, Phone calls in speaker mode, mediocre ultra wide-angle lens
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 512GB Black SM-F926BZKGXNZ review
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 is the best foldable smartphone you can get at the moment. It ticks all the checkboxes for a flagship Samsung smartphone (Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, IPX8 water resistance, S Pen support) and it is lighter, tougher and at RM6699, more affordable than when the first...

If you’re sold on the perks of the foldable concept, though, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is its best proponent yet.- Uniquely expansive main display, Plenty of power, Refined, more robust foldable design
- Cameras aren’t competitive with the very best, Still very expensive, No S Pen bundled in
