Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G (512GB, Silver) - Excellent review
An industry-defining foldable that offers improved hardware, optimised software and a few surprises (like S Pen stylus support and water resistance), on top of a lower price tag than its predecessor- Improved design and durability, Productivity powerhouse, Beautiful displays, Consistent cameras
- Some apps require manual optimisation, Terrible under-display camera, Cumbersome

Samsung has always been open to experimental form factors. The first Note series is a good example of the Korean giant hitting on something that wasn’t immediately met with positive reviews. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is an evolution of that mindset.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the company’s most accomplished foldable device yet, thanks to significant improvements in its build quality and upgrades to the internals and the display.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G (512GB, Silver) - Excellent review
The world of foldables hasn’t really set our eyelids on fire like we’d hoped, but they are coming along. Three generations of foldable in, Samsung’s chunky chap is more interesting than ever, and feels like a worthy option for someone who lives a life around entertainment.- Still a really cool idea, Excellent performance, Fantastic entertainment device, Includes an under-screen camera (!), Rear cameras can be used as a selfie camera, Supports 5G, Wireless charging, Water resistant
- Very, very thick, Under-screen camera isn't great, Rear camera shots need to be sharper, No 8K video capture, S-Pen support feels like it's been thrown in as opposed to designed to be truly used with the Fold 3, Not a major leap on last year's Fold 2

This can be considered two phones in one, ‘folded’ it’s a little narrow compared to most recent offering, ‘unfolded’ you need large hands or a flat surface to lay it on. Having told you about the Samsung Flip last year here is its big brother the Samsung Fold.

There was a time when we thought foldable devices were a technology that may take decades to get to. Heck, some people thought we’d never see such devices at all. At the same time, we have had some curved glass devices; folding that glass seemed undoable.
