For those constantly on the move, there isn't a more accommodating type of headphone than those of the in-ear variety. Their discrete form factor lends to unparalleled portability and better yet, they are increasingly being stocked with impressive sound performance. What's not to love?
Two products, one review: that's the kind of efficiency you can expect from us here at iLounge. Today we're looking at a
Excellent sound, a great fit, and detachable cables help rank Shure's SE215 Wireless among our favorite wireless earbuds in their class. There are a few excellent competitors to the Shure SE215 Wireless for those in the market for banded wireless in-ears to consider.
Vibrant; detailed sound; Earbuds fit securely and comfortably; Replaceable cable; Intuitive controls
Neckband can be slightly awkward; Securing or taking off earbuds is time consuming
Search the headphone forums and read the gadget blogs. You'll find many fans of the Shure SE215 earbuds. The praise is deserved - they do sound really good - but they aren't for everyone. The fit can be problematic.
Great sound; Cables detach and are replaceable if they wear out; Lots of tip options in the box
They aren't the most comfortable buds in the bin; Finding the correct seal and fit takes a lot of patience; No remote or microphone, so you'll be de-pocketing your mobile more often
Although these earphones generally sound pretty good, I'd never recommend or buy them again because of the Wireform cable design. They are just to much of a hassle to put on. I'll stick with Westone in the future.
I was looking for a replacement for my LG Tone earphones and thought I would give the Shures a try. Shure in-ear headphones have always been on my radar but the over the ear design (never been my favorite) and price have always kept me away.
These are definitely the best for the price. I've used them for about 2 months while I drum and they are incredible! There are so many options for sizes as well as changing material. An absolute must if you're looking for quality and comfort at a much lower price than the super high end ones.
For those coming from ear buds included with their iPods and phones this is worlds better. It will blow you away. For those who have experience with higher end IEMs they know that this is one of the best IEMs for $100 but it does lack when compared to $300-$500 earphones which is expected.
Good quality iems. Sound and bass is very good. While still its good but when moving around the sound keeps getting cut off maybe issue because of replaceable cables. I used ue 900 cables to replace the original ones because of the cut off issue its lot better than the shure cables i barely get...
