This little 5 port switch is just what we needed, in fact, we have the 8 port too. Its metal casing makes it tough, very energy efficient and a great price. The fact we can setup the items we need without needing to configure lots of complicated stuff was/is just ideal.

I bought this switch to connect one ethernet cable from my router to allow me to connect my TV, Satellite box, and android box together. The unit is really nice and compact, and fits behind the TV where its hidden from sight.

Purchased to this extend my ethernet to my xbox, laptop, iMac and future xbox One. Did a speed test on a 100mb line before and after installation. They were exactly the same. Simply plugged the cables in sockets and I was done.

Works perfect in the games room. Only have 1 port available and four devices needing hardwired. Great piece of tech so I don't have to keep changing cables
