Tales Of Zestiria Review
Tales of Zestiria is a beautiful game, full of childlike wonderment and excitement; its characters have big hearts and great personalities, meaning you feel like you belong, giving you a great sense o
Pros:
- Friendly and welcoming characters
- Music that flows and hits the emotional beats
- A fresh new entry into a long running series
Cons:
- Never feels that challenging
- Armatization feature is too freely available
- A few frame-rate issues at certain points

Tales Of Zestiria is the 15th game in the long running Tales series of games from Bandai Namco 2012 – present, Namco Tales Studio (formally Wolf Team) 1995 – 2011. Alongside the 15 main titles there have been numerous small sequels and spin-offs and there was even a MMORPG which ran for 1 year but...

Tales of Zestiria Review
doesn't deviate too far from its competent predecessors, but it's not a carbon copy, either. It may have linear dungeons and a less-than-stellar story, but it's open-world exploration, enjoyable customization, and flashy new Armitization feature are enough for it to stand on its own.
Pros:
- Open-world map
- Armitization feature
- Deep customization
Cons:
- Bland story and characters
- Linear dungeons

Tales of Zestiria Review – Smite the Malevolence (PS4)
Tales of Zestiria completes the trifecta of great JRPGs on PS4 this month. Fans of the Tales universe and newcomers alike will love the fifteenth entry's complex, varied customization options, revamped combat system and lovable cast.
Pros:
- Engaging characters with lovable personalities
- Fun
- fast-paced
- energetic combat
- Deep customization with a multitude of options to consider
- Maps are more open and organic than previous titles
- Go Shiina's soundtrack contributions are ridiculously awesome
Cons:
- Localization is more awkward than past games
- First five or so hours are a snoozefest
- Graphics aren't even close to meeting current-gen standards

Tales Of Zestiria review – fighting?fantasy
The Tales franchise still feels like a great combat system in need of a much better game, especially given the banal script and dungeon design that mars this latest entry.
Pros:
- The battle system is excellent and the new elemental and combining gimmicks are particularly good
- Open world environment is also welcome, in theory
Cons:
- The script and characters are weak and uninteresting, even by the standards of the franchise
- The dungeon design is awful and the amount of needless travel hugely frustrating

This is the first Tales series game I've ever played. That's not to say I was avoiding the series. I have a copy of Tales of Symphonia lying around here somewhere and I fully intended to play it at some point.

Zest fully clean.
Tales of Zestiria reinforces the notion that the Tales series is the Law and Order: SVU of video games. Both series have long held middle-of-the-road stature in their respective medium and genre.
Pros:
- Thoughtful preparation before battle is immensely rewarding
- Character fusion is a welcome addition to an otherwise familiar Tales combat system
- New characters stay faithful to the classic Tales party dynamic
Cons:
- Production values are exceedingly dated
- As with any Tales sequel
- there are very few changes in plot
- design
- and gameplay

Tales of Zestiria review
Tales of Zestiria is not my favourite Tales game and far from the best, but it's still a fun world-spanning adventure typical of the series that adds in some cool combat mechanics, semi-open environments full of secrets to discover and a decent, if always predictable storyline.
Pros:
- + Beautiful 1080p anime aesthetic
- + Entertaining
- if predictable story
- + Engaging action combat system
Cons:
- - DLC add-ons just insulting
- - No screenshot/recording allowed on PS4
- - Camera angle spazs out in battles

This game is simply amazing, I do admit they should have raised the fps and they could of done a lot better with the graphics but the rest is simply amazing! If you can get the collectors edition don't hesitate to buy it , you won't be sorry one of the best collectors edition I have ever owned and I...
