Its mine!
I bought myself a UE speaker about a year ago, but my daughter likes it so much, we keep fighting over it! Shell be super excited when she opens her Christmas gift this year, and Ill finally reclaim my speaker. Win Win.

UE Boom 2
Chances are, if you're shopping for a Bluetooth speaker, you've probably heard of the original UE Boom , or at least you should have. It won us over with its unmatched style, powerful audio and battery performance – plus a ton of features, thanks to its companion app.
Pros:
- Brilliant design
- Slightly improved sound
- More robust feature set
- Waterproof
Cons:
- Battery life isn't improved
- Same price

Excellent for outdoor use
I use this mainly at work outdoors in all weather conditions. It has a very good battery life and is waterproof. It can be played pretty loud without distortion.

UE Boom 2
The UE Boom 2 is the follow-up Bluetooth speaker to Ultimate Ears' 2013 UE Boom – a waterproof speaker that made a splash with its insane maximum volume and stellar battery life. It fell slightly flat on audio quality, however.

The UE Boom 2 has inherited its design from the last years UE Boom model that my colleague reviewed. Just a little twitch in push buttons, the power button has no markings now and the charging and auxiliary jack acquire a rubber flap, that's all, in form factor only.
Pros:

- Loud and clear sound output
- Waterproof
- Can be connected with unlimited UE boom 2
- Amazing battery life
- Full control over sound settings
Cons:
- Sound distorts at high volume
- Costly

UE Boom 2
I purchased two UE Boom 2. There is absolutely no instruction that come with them. I have an Apple 6s+ phone. I've tried both with and without app. Completely unable to pair both too work as one. Had to nephews here today to try as well. They both have UE's.

UE Boom 2
In the pool, at the beach, in the shower or wherever, the UE Boom 2 can survive dunkings and drops -- and sound good doing it. In reviews, it shrugs off testers' abuse better than any other Bluetooth speaker.

UE Boom 2 Bluetooth Speaker Review
The UE BOOM 2 is Jeff's daily driver as far as Bluetooth speakers go. He actually used the UE BOOM before that. Safe to say he (and we) like the BOOM series. In terms of changes, the BOOM 2 has added gesture controls-so now you can tap to pause, double-tap to skip tracks, etc.
Pros:
- 360 degrees of sound
- Very durable
- Waterproof (1m for 30 minutes
- Great battery life (~11 hours
Cons:
- Gesture system for skipping tracks isn't that efficient
- Bass could be deeper
