Logitech Ultimate Ears Boom 3 Review – Dynamite in a Small Package
The Ultimate Ears Boom 3 is a definite upgrade over its predecessors. While the design may not have changed much, there are some useful additions. Combined with great audio, especially the bass, as well as extended battery life, the Boom 3 checks all the right boxes when it comes down to it.
Pros:
- Sleek and solid design
- Heavy bass
- Loud audio without distortion
- Great app features
Cons:
- Midrange not as full

Having a lot of trouble achieving a consistent connection with my iPhone 5s or phone watch. Haven't managed a reliable pairing with my boom 3 speaker either. It's like playing vinyl that jumps on the turntable. Gutted as the sound quality is excellent even in an out door riding arena.

The only think I really dislike is that the double-press to skip function is a bit hit and miss. I would rather just have an extra button than have the annoyance of it pausing instead of skipping.

Awesome
Sound quality is great, fills the room equally. Bass is awesome, impressive for a small speaker. Worth the money

The good: - Clean and rugged design - EQ option - Detailed and well extended high frequencies - Gets loud - OTA firmware updates - Wireless charging capability The bad: - No bass below ~65-70 Hz so the sound is flat and boring (although detailed) - No aux input - No EQ if you don't use the app on a...

"Essential for my classroom"
I am a school teacher with aging classroom infrastructure. This speaker has been a wonderful investment. I use it at home and in the classroom, where it has much more volume and clarity than the tinny-sounding, too quiet classroom speakers.
