Ultimate Sound!
I've got some experience of various bluetooth speakers, I looked at reviews and went to my John Lewis store to test some. For all round performance across the music spectrum the Megaboom 3 was the best. I'm really pleased with it. It's great at background music and epic at pumping out party vibes.

Ultimate Ears Boom 3 review
The UE Boom 3 is a fantastic waterproof portable speaker, but Ultimate Ears hasn’t improved the audio quality despite the increased price.
Pros:
- IP67 waterproof/dust-proof
- Powerful sound
- Rugged design
- Light and portable
Cons:
- Audio lacks sharpness
- Relatively expensive
- Battery life isn’t improved

UE Boom 3 review: A better boom
Really good, but not great.
Pros:
- IP67 certification and floats
- Portable bottle-shaped design
- Connect to 150 other UE speakers via app
- Wireless charging available with purchase of dock
- Loud
Cons:
- Sound quality isn't great for the price
- Wireless charging dock is separate
- Even though the app is useful
- it's still an app that you need to download

Ultimate Ears Megaboom 3
The first Ultimate Ears Boom was a landmark audio product when it launched back in 2014. At a time when Bluetooth speakers were just beginning to flood the market, it stood out with its 360-degree sound and rugged form factor. Soon after came the bigger, tougher Megaboom.

- Rugged but attractive design
- New play/playlist button

Bought this about three weeks ago. Only tested the sound and some simple features. Works up to date on this. The bass is striking and the sound is really clear! Good design and feel robust and durable, good quality. Connects directly to the phone and has good reach. + For 20h battery life!
