Not bad but not on full volume
First off I like this little speaker in terms of sound quality, functionality and general ease of use. HOWEVER! Beware the battery! I have used this thing a lot and have found if you use less than 70% volume, it will last 10+ hours.
Great speaker
These speakers are awesome! You can link up over 30 of them together if you have pockets that deep and a desire to do so.- Attractive Design
- Easy Set-Up
- Great Sound Quality
Ultimate Ears MINI BOOM Quick Review: The Best Portable Speaker On The Market Just Got Smaller
. It really lives up to its name, delivering top-notch sound quality that's nearly impossible to find in most speakers twice its size. Of course, that kind of quality comes at a price – a $200 price, to be exact.
Ultimate Ears Boom: The Speaker Jambox Wants to Be
Forget Jambox . It's officially been replaced, at least to my ears, by the Ultimate Ears Boom: A portable wireless speaker that sounds almost as good as a much larger home system. It also has a brilliant stereo mode that lets you set up two Booms to act as a stereo pair.
Review – Logitech's Ultimate Ears Boom Speakers Rock My World
For the past eight months I've listened to music in my digital workspace/home office through a review unit of the Logitech UE Boom Speaker , connected via Bluetooth to my Mac Mini .
UE Megaboom hits CES 2015: Top indoor/outdoor portable Bluetooth speaker gets supersized (review)
What does UE do for encore after releasing one of the best portable Bluetooth speakers of the last two years? Go bigger, of course, with a larger model appropriately called the UE Megaboom.- The larger UE Megaboom improves on the already impressive sound quality of the Boom, with even louder sound and fuller bass
- It's also waterproof, has upgraded Bluetooth range (and Bluetooth Smart) and excellent battery life
- A bit pricey at $300
- no carrying case included
Ultimate Ears UE Megaboom Review
The Ultimate Ears UE Megaboom is the bigger, louder follow-up to the original UE Boom, and just like its predecessor offers a rugged design and strong audio performance for a portable Bluetooth speaker. Ultimate Ears' UE Boom was an excellent $200 Bluetooth speaker, and even two years after its release, it's still a solid choice if you want a rugged, portable way to share your music wirelessly. Now Ultimate Ears offers a bigger version of the Boom. The UE Megaboom is beefier, more powerful, and louder than the UE Boom, and at $299.99 it's also $100 more expensive. It's a very good portable speaker if you want to blast sound through a room without any wires, but it struggles with deep bass at top volumes. If you can spend $50 more, the Editors' Choice Bowers & Wilkins T7 ($500.00 at Amazon) offers superior audio performance, but the Megaboom is a solid choice for the price. Just don't try to blow it out with thumpy dance music. DesignThe Megaboom is a faithful upscaling of the UE Boom. It's a rugged rubber cylinder that measures a tall 8.9 inches and is 3.5 inches in diameter. It's available in black, electric blue, red, or purple, and is covered almost entirely on the curved s...- Powerful for its size
- Solid audio quality across most of the range
- Struggles with deep sub-bass
Featured Review: Ultimate Ears MegaBoom Bluetooth Speaker
In the past, we've reviewed the UE Boom speakers. There's the Boom and Mini Boom, both of which are fantastic speakers. Now we've got our hands on the MegaBoom Speaker. Which is a much bigger speaker compared to the Boom, and it has more battery life, more sound, and more everything basically.
UE's Megaboom is designed so it can be used horizontally or vertically, although it can roll a bit when used horizontally. With speaker drivers pointing in multiple directions, the Megaboom fills a room with sound rather than blast sound in one direction.
