Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max review: Is bigger really better?

The iPhone with the biggest screen also delivers the biggest battery capacity of the iPhone 13 range, meaning its stamina is epic. Its sheer physical size won't suit all, though, but if you want all the features and all the longevity then it's the ultimate choice.
Pros:
  • Massive display, ProMotion screen brings 120Hz smoothness, Even bigger battery than predecessor, Easy-to-use and effective cameras
Cons:
  • It's really big - which won't suit all, Macro mode automatic switching can get confused, No Apple Pencil support, No always-on display, No USB-C

Apple iPhone 13 PRO (1TB, Blue) AU - Pristine review

The iPhone 13 Pro might no longer be the very best iPhone around, yet if you can find it for a good price there are still some excellent features here – and it’s a better overall buy than the iPhone 14.
Pros:
  • Great to finally see a 120Hz display on an iPhone, Good battery life, Seriously impressive camera system, You’ve been longing for a 120Hz display on an iPhone: The 120Hz ProMotion screen here is glorious
  • it’s great to see Apple finally add the feature we’ve been enjoying on Android phones for...
Cons:
  • Other phones have better zoom, The notch feels dated, You want the best zoom camera: I love the camera on the iPhone 13 Pro, but it would be nice to see Apple follow Samsung’s lead (among many others) and utilise a periscope zoom. Until then, the iPhone’s zoom will never be quite the best.

iPhone 13 Pro Max review: A superlative by nature

The iPhone 13 Pro Max is superlative by nature. Right now, this is the smartphone with Apple's most advanced hardware and software experience, and while it doesn't have the best camera on the market, it is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a high-performance smartphone.
Pros:
  • 120Hz display with ProMotion technology., Battery life., Fluid software experience., Nearly foolproof ecosystem., Versatile and trendy camera suite.
Cons:
  • Fast charging technology lags behind the competition., Constant issues unlocking with Face ID., Telephoto camera could be better.

Apple iPhone 13 PRO (1TB, Blue) AU - Pristine review

13 is the charm! The iPhone goes into the next round with a 120-Hz panel, a bigger battery and an improved camera system. In our review, the iPhone 13 Pro has earned not only superlatives but also a few points of criticism.
Pros:
  • responsive system, outstanding 120-Hz OLED display, great battery life, good triple camera system, accurate geolocation, supports many LTE and 5G frequencies
Cons:
  • heavy, no 5G-mmWave in Europe, slow Wi-Fi 6, limited NFC functionality, poor noise reduction in phone calls

Apple's iPhone 13 Pro Is Oddly Light on Pro Features

This year's top-tier iPhones are great, but there are fewer reasons than ever to shell out for them.
Pros:
  • Great performance. Battery comfortably lasts a full day, if not a little more. Excellent camera systems. The new Cinematic Mode for videos is tremendously fun. 120-Hz screen refresh rate makes everything look smooth.
Cons:
  • Base model starts with just 128 GB of storage, which is far too little. Pro models have fewer of the special features that justify the higher prices.

Apple iPhone 13 Pro 1TB - Silver MLVW3X/A review

The iPhone 13 Pro represents a major improvement over the iPhone 12 Pro. Sure, it retains a similar design, but with improvements to the display, battery, and camera, the phone is better where it matters.

iPhone 13 Pro Max

Like a lot of recent SmartPhones this was one of a range of models. Having told you about one of the lower specification’s model I now get to test the top of the range model – the one they use in the TV ads – so what does this latest offering from Apple have to temp you away from your current...

Apple iPhone 13 Pro review: Still the best you can get

Let’s get this out the way now: The iPhone 13 Pro is the new iPhone model you should buy. You’ll remember the iPhone 12 Pro Max had bigger camera sensors, giving it better lowlight performance and 3x optical zoom, rather than 2x. Not so this time. The iPhone 13 Pro is the same as the 13 Pro Max (aside from battery capacity and screen size, of course). so you don’t have to bust your hand or your wallet to get the top features. Add into the mix the powerful A15 Bionic processor, 120Hz ProMotion display, battery life that can last almost two days, and excellent camera performance, and you have the best iPhone 13 model in the entire lineup. We’ve been using it since launch day, and have updated our review to reflect its performance many months into its life cycle. The iPhone 13 Pro comes in five different colors, including the Sierra Blue seen in our photos, along with Alpine Green, silver, gold, and graphite. Both the front and the back are protected by Apple’s Ceramic Shield glass, and a...
Pros:
  • Packs lots of power into its size
  • Incredible camera and video performance
  • Very long-lasting battery
  • Smooth and responsive 120Hz screen
  • Comes with 1TB storage option
Cons:
  • No fast charging
  • No USB-C
