iPhone 13 Pro Max review
The iPhone 13 Pro Max offers the best battery of any iPhone to date, but the lack of differences between it and the more affordable iPhone 13 Pro - including ProMotion tech and enhanced cameras - make it hard to recommend to most.- Great low-light photography performance
- Ultra-smooth 120Hz refresh rate
- Incredible battery life
- A15 Bionic is unbeaten
- Big and bulky
- Relatively slow charging
- Cinematic mode is capped at 1080p
- Expensive
Apple iPhone 13 PRO MAX (256GB, Sierra Blue) - Excellent review
Apple's iPhone 13 Pro Max is largely identical to the regular 13 Pro model, but the screen is larger and the battery lasts longer.- Huge screen with high resolution and 120 Hz refresh. Faster mobile is not available on the market and you cannot run the battery down.
- Live Text does not work for small languages like Danish.
Apple iPhone 13 PRO MAX (256GB, Sierra Blue) - Excellent review
A giant, updated. Apple again positions the iPhone 13 Pro Max as the spear head with absolute top technology in 2021. Keywords are: a 120-Hz ProMotion display, improved cameras, a new Apple A15 chip, and optional 1 TB storage. We take a detailed look at the top model.- high-quality case, extreme amount of optional storage, fast WLAN, many 5G and 4G frequencies, accurate locating, very fast 120-Hz display, very high performance, long battery life
- only 12 months of warranty, significant camera bulge, slight throttling under longer load, relatively mediocre charging speed, large notch
Apple iPhone 13 PRO MAX (256GB, Sierra Blue) - Excellent review
The iPhone 13 Pro Max gets put through its paces to see if this is the best phone yet from Apple
Apple iPhone 13 PRO MAX (256GB, Sierra Blue) - Excellent review
In a year when flagship phones have been a little ho-hum and few and far between, the iPhone 13 Pro Max stands out in a big way. Quite literally a big way. This year might have felt like a rerun of 2020 in terms of public health and the ability to go anywhere — thanks, coronavirus — but it felt like...- Lovely premium design, Superb camera with a macro mode that works a treat, Low-light works across all three cameras: ultra-wide, standard-wide, and telephoto, Cinematic mode gives you a solid focus and post-capture edit capability, Excellent performance, Includes 5G, Fast 120Hz ProMotion display...
- It's quite big, Expensive
Apple iPhone 13 PRO MAX (256GB, Sierra Blue) - Excellent review
Better in most ways than its predecessor, but most improvements to the iPhone 13 Pro Max are marginal- Longer battery life, Macro mode is great, 120Hz display makes a difference
- Most improvements marginal, Lens flare still a problem

Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max review
The iPhone 13 Pro Max is in many ways the best iPhone Apple’s ever made. It has the biggest and best screen, a superb and industry leading camera system, a bigger battery, solid speakers, and more raw power than most people will ever need or use. But it’s also big, expensive and heavy. And this year, all the camera upgrades and a chunk of battery improvements come to the iPhone 13 Pro too. So if you want the best Apple has to offer, this is your iPhone. But first weigh up whether you could do with a little less battery life, screen space and strain on your hands – and £100 extra in your pocket – because this year’s iPhone 13 Pro is just as good.- First-rate cameras
- Longer battery life
- Superb large display
- Unparalleled app ecosystem
- Big, heavy and bulky
- No USB-C connector
- No Touch ID
- Edges are a fingerprint magnet
iPhone 13 Pro Max review: Large, fast, persistent
Apple's biggest and most expensive iPhone runs a lot longer than the rest.- Epic battery life, ProMotion finally on iPhone, Great camera system
- No USB-C, No always-on display, It’s time for a selfie camera upgrade
