Brother MFC-L3750CDW Review

Brother's MFC-L3750CDW ($399.99) is an entry-level color laser-class all-in-one printer designed for small and home-based offices or workgroups with low-to-medium-volume print and copy requirements. A step down from our Editors' Choice color laser AIO, Brother's MFC-L3770CDW, the MFC-L3750CDW prints well at respectable speeds, and its ongoing cost per page (CPP) is, for a lower-end color laser, competitive. You do, however, give up a few things for its $100-lower list price compared to its more capable sibling, among them an auto-duplexing automatic document feeder (ADF) for scanning and copying two-sided, multipage documents without having to turn the originals over yourself. Even so, for many small operations, a C-note represents significant savings; if you can live without automatic two-sided scanning and a few other, less critical conveniences, the MFC-L3750CDW will serve you well. The Brother MFC-L3750CDW color laser-class (LED instead of laser technology) all-in-one prints well at a reasonable clip, but its automatic document feeder offers manual duplexing only and, as with most of its competitors, its running costs are not as economical as they should be.
