Bought the Japanese version to be able to play this a little earlier. Good game with cool fighter I have to say. It's also cool that you can bring a game like this on the road when you feel like pulling out of the console.

To those of us in the West it may not seem like it, but Dragon Ball and Nintendo have always been cozy. Nearly every Nintendo console, home or portable, has been host to at least one if not several Dragon Ball games.

"Fighting game with RPG elements what a blend!"
A fighting game with RPG elements. I'm not a fan of the TV series but I really enjoy this. The fighting mechanics are perfect. As you play through the story mode and the countless multiplayer quests you earn exp to level up. You can keep doing quests for loot like equipment drops and new skills.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (Switch)
There's something special about revisiting a franchise from your childhood as an adult. When I was a kid, I watched Dragon Ball Z every morning on Cheez TV before school. When they bumped it to a later time slot, my mum would watch it for me, and take diligent notes so I would always know what was...

fun
The Switch version of the game doesn't really add much more to the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 experience that you wouldn't find on the original iteration of the game. There is some bonus content nestled deep in the Story mission that intrepid fans are going to really enjoy (access to the previous...

Ideally, a licensed video game can capture the heart and soul of its source material while presenting an enjoyable, well-made gameplay experience; accomplishing this within the realm of the celebrated and long-running Dragon Ball franchise must present quite a challenge.

Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 (Nintendo Switch) Second Opinion Review
Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 is, without a single doubt, one of the finest Dragon Ball video games ever. It has two major problems, though. The first is that it feels tailor-made for fans of the series, and, as a result, won't really excite anyone else - especially when it comes to its story.
