There’s lots to love with the Honor 400 Pro that blends the still potent Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with an excellent display with a powerful triple rear camera array that now has telephoto zoom and an array of AI-powered enhancements.
Pros:
- Robust IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, Excellent performance for price, AI-enhanced cameras offer great results

- No way to manipulate outcomes in AI Image to Video generation, No way to disable or reassign the amount of RAM Turbo virtual RAM

The Honor 400 Pro is a capable mid-range phone with a sleek look, fast performance, and fantastic efficiency. Camera performance is generally great too, although some of the AI functions can make images feel a little synthetic at distance, while the design is perhaps a little generic at times.
Pros:
- Sleek, grown-up looks, Wonderfully efficient, Gorgeous OLED screen
Cons:
- AI camera features can leave images feeling quite synthetic, MagicOS 9 may be a divisive distro of Android

I spent a week testing the Honor 400 Pro, and it's a powerful almost-flagship with some fancy AI tricks
The Honor 400 Pro offers up a well-balanced flagship experience, with one or two judicious compromises, for a good chunk of money less than a true flagship. It’s not the first phone to offer such a combination, nor is it the cheapest, but it’s compelling nonetheless.

- Slightly drab, heavy design, Busy, iOS-aping UI, Can get faster for the money

The Honor 400 Pro can do it all, and it does it at a reasonable price. With a speedy chip inside, serious camera hardware, flagship-level AI features, a long-lasting battery and quick charging, it leaves little to be desired.

Triple cameras impress for the cash, but is AI all its cracked up to be?

- Long-lasting battery with rapid wired and wireless charging, Colourful, engaging photos in almost all conditions, Extensive AI toolbox and upper-tier performance for everything else
Cons:
- Some might find all the AI photography features a little creepy, A little less pre-installed bloat should be standard at this price

Honor 400 Pro review: "It's streamers, content creators, and gaming video makers who will get the most bang for their buck here"
The Honor 400 Pro is a stunning camera phone, but that obnoxiously large set of lenses on its back isn’t hiding a lack of features within. Along with the compulsory AI fluff that every phone in 2025 has to have, there’s a lot of gaming power, a lot of storage, and a lot of versatility to enjoy.
Pros:
- Insane camera, Decent gaming performance, Good battery life, Vibrant display, Slim design, Decent price
Cons:
- Massive camera array upsets the slim design, A lot of inescapable AI features, MagicOS quirks, Speakers could be better
