Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu and Let's Go, Eevee finally bring full, main-series Pokemon titles to Nintendo Switch in the form of modernized and fairly simple remakes of Pokemon Yellow. Nintendo fans have been asking for a full-fledged, main-series Pokemon game on a home console for nearly two decades. Nintendo's put out plenty of Pokemon spin-off games on consoles, such as Pokemon Colosseum, Pokemon Snap, and Pokemon Rumble U, but the major Pokemon releases have all been limited to handheld systems. Thanks to Nintendo Switch, that's no longer the case. Since Switch works both as a home game console and a handheld gaming device, any Pokemon game released for the Switch is playable natively through a system connected to your TV. There's still no word on Pokemon's upcoming eighth generation titles, but you can play modern, complete Pokemon titles on Switch with Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu and Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee, which are remakes of a classic Pokemon game. Pokemon Let's Go, Pikachu! Review – Nostalgic Victory Lap

A funny thing happens when you play the same franchise for 20 years. You start noticing every little thing they do differently, every nod to previous efforts, and every potential mistake.

  • Multiplayer is seamless
  • No more random encounters

  • Some battle features missing
