Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Dual SIM 5G (12GB RAM, 256GB, Green) - BRAND NEW review

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 is getting close to perfect

Excellent phone reception strength for city, suburbs, regional and rural use, Bright, Colourful and accurate displays, Premium class camera, A more usable outer screen, Decent 1-day battery life

The crease and Two-handed opening may bother you, Mohs hardness 2 (out of 10) for the main screen – take extreme care, Some throttling but not as extreme as other SD8 Gen1 SoCs and no mountable external SSD storage, 25W charger costs extra and is so yesterday – bad Samsung, Heavy in the pocket and...

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Dual SIM 5G (12GB RAM, 256GB, Green) - BRAND NEW review

Samsung’s Fold series has come a long way since its disastrous debut, which saw the first-generation model all but fall apart in my hand. Having spent a week with the Galaxy Z Fold 4, it’s clear that this is the most refined version of the foldable phone yet.

Smart UI tweaks, Camera no longer an issue, The form factor really does work

Lack of apps making true use of the big inner screen limits usefulness, Crease and thick body remain from the previous iteration, Price still puts it out of reach for most

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Dual SIM 5G (12GB RAM, 256GB, Green) - BRAND NEW review

Samsung’s cutting-edge folding phone-tablet hybrid has lost none of its novelty and power for its fourth generation. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is unrivalled outside China, where some local brands make similar devices for the local market. Lots of small refinements add up in this new iteration.

Pros: a phone and tablet in one, water resistance, powerful split-screen apps, phone-like outside screen, fantastic tablet screen, top performance, very good battery life, excellent cameras, head-turning design.

Cons: extremely expensive, more fragile than a regular device and internal screen can be marked more easily than traditional glass, costly to repair, no dust resistance, heavy, thick, not a massive leap over the previous generation.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Dual SIM 5G (12GB RAM, 256GB, Green) - BRAND NEW review

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is a refined foldable with improved durability, great performance and pixel-perfect cameras, but it doesn’t do much differently to its predecessor. Minor changes could attract if you were on the fence, but bigger upgrades from competing foldables leave the Z Fold 4 in the...

Large 7.6in display is great for multitasking, Hugely improved rear camera setup, All-day battery life, New software enhancements via Android 12L

Still a gap between displays when folded, Under display camera is bad, App support is hit-and-miss, 25W charging is slow in 2022

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Dual SIM 5G (12GB RAM, 256GB, Green) - BRAND NEW review

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is a welcome update that moves this folding phone into a flagship space with boosted power and new cameras. This remains the big screen folding phone of choice, with software support for wider usage of the display and plenty of quality in all areas.

Narrower bezels, Flagship cameras, Loads of power, S Pen compatible, Undeniable 'cool' factor

No S Pen storage, Charging speeds remain average at best, It's really expensive, Internal display drains battery quite quickly

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Dual SIM 5G (12GB RAM, 256GB, Green) - BRAND NEW review

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is a do-everything device that presents few compromises. It is good for photography, multi-tasking your work and watching Netflix, however the high price might put off some buyers.

Impressive main and cover screens, Optimized for multi-tasking, Cleverly-hidden selfie camera

Cameras aren’t Samsung’s very best, Crease is still noticeable, Expensive

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Dual SIM 5G (12GB RAM, 256GB, Green) - BRAND NEW review

Awesome phone feature packed...I upgraded from a Z flip 3 as I wasn't happy with the battery life and pleased to say battery life on the fold 4 is so much better.Gone are the days of charging multiple times a day to overnight charging now and lasting me all day.Camera quality is great too.To say I'm...

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Dual SIM 5G (12GB RAM, 256GB, Green) - BRAND NEW review

Been using this phone for about a month now and absolutely loving it. Full transparency I use this as a second phone alongside my iPhone and this is a great addition. This phone does everything my iPhone can do and sometimes it does it better. No regrets in my purchase.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Dual SIM 5G (12GB RAM, 256GB, Green) - BRAND NEW review

The only really con of it is more bulky than a regular phone. I got mine in yesterday used it today in a high traffic area it logged on to 5g gave me priority over others in the area. Both screens are great. The speed of the system is great.
