Apple iPhone 15 review: the best for most people
While the iPhone 15 might not have the advanced features of the pro model, it’s an impressive phone that feels great in the hand. Not only is it powerful, thanks to the A16 Bionic chip but the new 48MP camera means it takes incredible photos too.- Great-looking device, Feels solid and well made, Impressive performance
- Lacks always-on display, Some users may miss a long lens, Slower USB 2 transfer
iPhone 15 review: The best non-Pro Apple device ever
The iPhone 15 has been my companion for the past few days. And Apple has been able to impress with just a few upgrades. Here’s why.
Apple iPhone 15 Review
There are upgrades across the board for the iPhone 15 – even if we’ve seen them on other iPhone models before. The camera benefits from a higher-resolution main sensor, the Dynamic Island is an obvious improvement over the notch and there’s even been a slight price cut in the UK.- Welcome switch to USB-C, Really good camera, Far more ergonomic than iPhone 14, Dyanmic Island is much better than the notch
- No true telephoto camera, Still no 120Hz display, USB-C doesn't improve charging or data speeds
iPhone 15 review: a big step forward
“The iPhone 15 is one of the most significant iPhone upgrades ever. The Dynamic Island, USB-C, a 48MP camera, and more make it delightful to use.”- Big camera upgrade, USB-C, Matte glass feels incredible, Dynamic Island, Curved edges are more comfortable, Reverse wired charging
- 60Hz refresh rate display, Most color options are too light, Can get warm when running intensive apps, Won't get Apple Intelligence in iOS 18
Apple iPhone 15 Review: It's My Default Recommendation Again
Yes, if you don’t care for the iPhone 15 Pro’s features and don't mind the 60Hz refresh rate. With the gap between the two iPhone lines shrinking, the regular iPhone 15 is now my default recommendation for most people.- Improved design, Solid dual camera system, Dynamic Island, USB-C, Good battery life
- Only 60Hz refresh rate, USB 2.0 speeds for USB-C
Apple iPhone 15 review
The iPhone 15 has a small collection of downsides but there’s nothing to cause any major problems. It’s otherwise more of the same from Apple with a solid balance of hardware, software and performance making the iPhone 15 a good-value option.- USB-C is versatile, Solid performance, Dynamic Island, Affordable
- 60Hz display, Some camera issues, Mediocre charging speed
iPhone 15 Review: Advancements Shadowed by Notable Shortcomings
The iPhone 15 represents the highly anticipated upgrade we've all been longing for since the debut of the iPhone 12. Nevertheless, it seems Apple has made some cheap decisions that continue to hold back the full potential of this iconic series. Here is our comprehensive review of the iPhone 15.- Dynamic Island and mute toggle switch onboard, Versatile camera system with true-to-life photo quality, Constructed with 75% recycled aluminum, IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, Equipped with a USB-C port, Provides all-day battery life
- Display limited to a 60 Hz refresh rate, Lacks Always-On Display (AoD) feature, Restricted to USB-C 2.0 speeds due to SoC design
Apple iPhone 15 5G (6GB RAM, 256GB, Yellow) - Brand New review
A new camera and plenty of trickle-down features make this a worthy upgrade.- Upgraded camera, Solid performance, Dynamic Island is handy, USB-C is finally here
- Overall design is getting stale, No high-refresh rate display, USB-C is limited, Colors are underwhelming
Apple iPhone 15 (Review Apple iPhone 15)
A few new features make for a more compelling iPhone- Good size and weight, Solid performance, Capable cameras, USB-C port, Dynamic Island
- No always-on display, No telephoto camera, Shorter battery life than other iPhones

Overall performance tweaks and a USB-C transition means that the iPhone 15 is a predictably great phone.- Great 48MP main camera, Bright, redesigned screen, The Dynamic Island is now on the vanilla iPhone range, too, USB-C charging
- The Ultra-Wide camera could be better, It’s a very minor update over iPhone 14, Only the Pro models include fast USB-C file transfer
