Yoshi's Crafted World - Nintendo Switch
My 7 year old son LOVES it. He used his own money that he saved and said it was definitely worth it. He saved a long time for that money and has no regrets.

A labor of love - Yoshi's Crafted World review
Yoshi's Island on the SNES is an undeniable masterpiece. From its innovative gameplay to its gorgeous aesthetic, many people, myself included, herald this title as one of the best 2D platformers of all-time.
Pros:
- Gorgeous aesthetic
- Unexpected and creative level themes
- Innovative gameplay concepts
Cons:
- Lackluster soundtrack
- Poorly implemented co-op mechanics

Yoshi's Crafted World Review
Double the above down with the idea that this is now a portable game -- something we tend to harp on a bit about where Nintendo Switch games are concerned, but that shouldn't be misrepresented because who doesn't love gaming-on-the-go, right

Nintendo treats its star mascot, Mario, like a strict parent would a child . It controls who Mario goes out with, where he goes, and wh...

Yoshi's Crafted World Review
Ever since the first time Yoshi stole the limelight in Yoshi's Island, Nintendo have had a bit of a habit of rendering their characters in new and unusual materials. Mario was turned to paper, Link flattened with cel shading, wall paintings and clay, Kirby to yarn, but it's Yoshi that has...
Pros:
- Wonderful arts and crafts visuals
- Laid back
- joyous collectathon platforming
- Co-op is a wholesome as it is chaotic
- Impossibly catchy soundtrack

If you're new to the series, Yoshi's Crafted World has colour and charm to spare, even if its inventiveness is largely limited to its looks. For Yoshi fans, it does exactly what you expect it to, which is perhaps the worst thing we can say about it; it contains few genuine surprises.

Yoshi's Crafted World Review – Cardboard Paradise
Yoshi games have always had a rather distinct aesthetic. Yoshi's Island was rendered in lush colors and sketchbook lines. Woolly World was a study in stitching and superb detail. Yoshi's Crafted World takes this torch and makes a most admirable mark in the pages of history.
Pros:
- The graphics are utterly charming
- Every level is something different
- Difficulty is just right
Cons:
- Music gets old fast
- Costumes lack variety
- Flipped stages are a one-trick pony
