Review: Yoshi's Crafted World
is full of charm, personality, and warmth. The platforming is excellent, and each world is an exciting, varied experience. Granted, the game isn't hard by any means but that should deter you from missing out. Satisfying exploration, hidden treasures and secrets,
Yoshi's Crafted World review - at long last, a worthy successor to Yoshi's Island
at long last, a worthy successor to Yoshi's Island
In 1995, Yoshi had his moment. The character's Super Mario World debut was so strong, Nintendo handed the dinosaur sidekick his own sequel. A surprise divergence from the Mario franchise found the character escorting a baby version of the plumber in search of his kidnapped twin.
Game Review: Yoshi's Crafted World
Yoshi's Crafted World was first announced at E3 in 2017 and unlike some of the other iconic household names coming to the Nintendo Switch, Yoshi hasn't really had the Super Mario treatment in terms of a marketing push, other than the odd trailer or preview here and there.
"Egg-pooping-tastic!"
This is so much fun! I am as addicted as my 4 year old!
It's okay
It seems cute. I thought it would be a bit more challenging. While taking turns on it with my little guy it seemed too easy. It might get harder and maybe I set it to the easiest difficulty settings. However, of the games we have, I don't see him playing this one much.
Yoshi's Crafted World (Switch)
Yoshi's Crafty World is a game overflowing with charm. While it feels very much like another game in the Yoshi's Island series, it makes enough changes here and there to freshen it up.
Yoshi's Crafted World: "Nintendo by numbers"
Is political crisis getting you down Need a breather from the toughest FromSoftware title in years Lucky for you, baby Bowser has sto...- Absolutely adorable
- Clever arts and crafts puzzle design
- A serene
- calming soundtrack
- Lacking in ambition
- Frustrating control scheme
- Surface-level story
Yoshi's Crafted World review – handicraft hero
The Switch gets a follow-up to Yoshi's Woolly World, with a fun co-op and some charming visuals, but are there any genuinely new ideas- The platforming mechanics are fun and the handicraft motif looks great
- Great co-op and some clever puzzles and themed stages
- Few genuinely new gameplay ideas and the whole flip side concept is used to little purpose
- Too much reuse of old enemies and set pieces
Yoshi’s Crafted World Review | Great single-player, terrible co-op
Yoshi's Crafted World is the latest in the spin-off platforming series that began with Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island . Since that entry, Yoshi has ditched Baby Mario (thank God) and is off doing his own thing. The gameplay that remained much the same, though.- Yoshi is absolutely adorable
- Costumes and reverse stages add a lot of replay value
- Inventive level design
- Same great gameplay fundamentals as previous entries
- Music doesn't stand out
